Recently updated my home Wi-Fi network to get 'WPA2/WPA3 Mixed' support. I have a very new and capable router/satelite Wi-Fi6 network now. Every device I have (including much more dumb devices like a Frigidaire dehumidifier and a Honeywell thermostat) will connect on that primary 'WPA2/WPA3-Mixed' network except my Q90T TV. I had to place the Q90T on an IoT 'WPA2-only' network. There are many other web posts where Samsung TV customers have had the same issue even with this year's TV models. It's late 2024. Why does Samsung still not build their TVs to support this mixed wi-fi protocol? It's totally unacceptable.
Is Samsung unable to update and provide compatibility with 'WPA2/WPA3 Mixed' via firmware to resolve? ... that is, is the issue built into the hardware you use for enabling Wi-Fi in TVs thus never fixable? Samsung really needs to get their act together on this issue.
