I've had this tv since it released in 2017 and I have only ever had English set for the language for this tv.  As of today all voice commands given are not being recognized and when displayed on the tv, it's showing up in Russian.

I have checked all of the language settings and they are set to English. I'm unable to check for an update to this tv for some reason as that option is grayed out and it's showing as offline in the smart things app.

The only thing I really use the voice commands for is to turn on the sleep timer which I can do manually still, however, it's not convenient.

There are also multiple posts on Reddit for this same issue happening on other models but no solutions as to how to fix it.

Is there a fix for this issue?

Edit to add: the TV is connected to my network, I'm able to use streaming apps on it without issues and it does have my Samsung account connected.

Yes, a factory reset has been done.

No that did not fix the issue.

I think being able to show a video would be the most beneficial however since the forums don't allow for that, this picture was taken after giving the command "Set sleep timer for 30 minutes"

Mine is exactly the same and have done a factory reset. I had trouble logging back into samsung account too but that's done now. But still can't use voice control.

Factory reset did not help. Still Russian or Cyrillic displayed

Pookiep,  Thank you so much for the images and to confirm you're still experiencing the same symptoms after performing the recommended factory reset to possibly correct the language selection?

Alright CrystalJewell, thank you for that verification. We will continue to look into this matter and once a resolution has been provided, we will gladly update you accordingly.

I'm experiencing the EXACT same thing as Pookiep and CrystalJewell. Right down to trying a reset, installing new batteries, trying a different remote, etc. Screen shot for sleep timer request is exactly the same.

I have the same issue, Iā€™ve done a full reset of the TV checked for updates, just stopped working any phrase seems to get translated into what looks like Russian, therefore any voice commands no longer work

I found this thread as my TV is doing the same. My spoken command is showing on the screen in what appears to be a Cyrillic language
