I've had this tv since it released in 2017 and I have only ever had English set for the language for this tv. As of today all voice commands given are not being recognized and when displayed on the tv, it's showing up in Russian.
I have checked all of the language settings and they are set to English. I'm unable to check for an update to this tv for some reason as that option is grayed out and it's showing as offline in the smart things app.
The only thing I really use the voice commands for is to turn on the sleep timer which I can do manually still, however, it's not convenient.
There are also multiple posts on Reddit for this same issue happening on other models but no solutions as to how to fix it.
Is there a fix for this issue?
Edit to add: the TV is connected to my network, I'm able to use streaming apps on it without issues and it does have my Samsung account connected.

LED and OLED TVsI have the same issue. Voice command in English is not being recognized. I have a good internet connection with the tv. My Samsung TV purchased in 2016. I use the voice command to change channels, change volume and place a sleep timer on the TV. I noticed it stopped working on 1/28/25.

So - same issue. TV works fine. All apps work fine. But the voice command no longer speaks my language. Literally! I have no idea what language is being displayed when I try to use the voice command feature (it almost seems to switch languages but definitely looked like some was Russian). That said, it is definitely NOT English.

LED and OLED TVsThank you so much for that information and speedy response. We will definitely continue to look into this matter for you. Can any one of you please provide an image of the screen for reference to the Russian language being shown for the Voice Commands?
Also have you tried a factory reset to refresh the television? You can find those steps here to assist in that aspect- https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077524/.
