I recently bought a Samsung 8K LED TV, and while 8K demo videos look stunning, Iโ€™ve noticed that regular HD content looks a bit blurry or soft. It feels like the TVโ€™s upscaling isnโ€™t working as sharply as expected. Iโ€™ve already tried adjusting the picture mode, sharpness, and AI upscaling settings, but the result still isn't great. Is this a known issue or is there any specific setting I might be missing to make lower-resolution content look better?

Would really appreciate any suggestions or experiences from others whoโ€™ve faced the same issue.

I would think upscaling would naturally come with a blurring effect as it has less information to "upscale". 8k is 16 times the size of 1080p. It's a feedback loop that makes up detail. I would suggest turning of upscaling and optimizing your picture instead. I could be wrong this is just from what I know about the subject which isn't much.
