I have an LG SL10YG 5.1 soundbar with subwoofer connected to my new 55" Samsung S90D TV via ARC. I have a Nintendo Switch 2 connected. When I go to my sound settings on the Switch 2 it only shows TV as a source for sound. The sound comes through the bar fine but only through 2 speakers and lists them as TV Speakers. I changed the sound to Linear 5.1 and it said the Samsung setup does not support it as a surround sound. However when I tested it in the test screen all 6 test speakers from around the room came out through the multiple speakers in my bar. So the Switch outputs sound through the soundbar, but only 2 speakers. The format it says I don't have the support for will produce 6 speakers worth of sound. Is there anything I have hooked up wrong? I have the Soundbar as I said on Arc with Pass-Through as the format. I tried multiple cords, switching inputs, etc. I thought about calling Nintendo but to be honest when I have they usually read off a boilerplate answer sheet and don't think outside that. I think my setttings are right with the Samsung and there is not much to do with the bar. When connected ARC comes on the display and is fine.
