Hello RS911, Welcome to the Samsung Community. We are sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your new TV and would like to assist, so you can enjoy your new purchase. To start, can you verify that your internet is connected to the TV and running smoothly? You can run a speed test to ensure this is not related to connectivity. If it is related to connectivity, you will need to contact your provider for a possible upgrade of your internet services.
We recommend for you to perform a soft reset on the TV itself by disconnecting the power cord from the outlet, wait approx. 2 mins and retry. Second, it's suggested to perform a factory reset on the Smart Hub following these steps:
-
Open Settings, then select Support.
-
Select Device Care.
Note: On some models, select Support instead.
-
Select Self Diagnosis, then select Reset Smart Hub, and then enter your PIN.
-
After the reset is complete, select OK.
The default PIN is 0000. You can set the PIN by navigating to Settings, and then selecting General. Select System Manager, and then select Change PIN.
The final options is to factory reset the TV itself or contact your retailer for an exchange of the TV. The following steps will assist with the factory reset aspect of the TV:
-
Open Settings, and then select General & Privacy.
-
Select Reset, enter your PIN (0000 is the default), and then select Reset.
-
To complete the reset, select OK. Your TV will restart automatically.
-
If these steps don't match your TV, navigate to Settings, select Support, and then select Self Diagnosis. Reset will be located in that menu.
