I have a Samsung TV model UN65TU700DFXZA
Software Version: T-KTSU2AKUC-2700.6

I used to be able to cast from my phone (S23) or either of my PCs but now all I seem to be able to get to work is the YouTube. I thought it may be related to only apps on both devices but Twitch won't cast either.

I've tried restarting the TV, removing devices, I'm debating a factory reset but I think that's pointless at this point.

I mainly just want to stream/screen mirror/chromecast from my Windows 10 PC that has a bluray drive to my TV but it is looking more and more like I need to get another device to connect, a new TV, or a $200 bluray player. This is exhausting I just want to be able to watch my media with friends coming over but doubt this will be answered before Christmas day.

Has Google or Samsung bricked this functionality for the most part?

Hey, ThatotherGuy86, thank you for reaching out to the Samsung Community. Iโ€™m sorry to hear you're having trouble casting from your Galaxy S23 to your TU700D series TV. I would be more than happy to help to see if we can get your phone to cast back on your TV.
1) Double-check if both devices are on the same network status. On your TV: Go to Settings > General > Network > Network Status. On your S23: Swipe down to the Quick Panel and verify your Wi-Fi name.
2) Make sure your devices are up to date, and power reset them.
3) Clearing the cache for your phone may also help. To do this, go to Settings > Apps > Smart View. Tap Storage > Clear Cache.
