I recently bought a Samsung S95F and I love it, but every few days the shadows and black levels get really crushed and I need to unplug it and plug it back in to fix it. Does anyone know why this issues happens? im not leaving the tv on all the time but like at least once a week I turn it on and as soon as a dark scene appears it just looks destroyed

LED and OLED TVsBest buy just replaced my S95 oled with a new one, I have the same issue everyone else has requiring a reset or unplugging, weekly. Firmware most recent. Samsung has a problem here that they are either failing to address or they dont know how to fix it. Do I need to return this and get an LG or Sony? I want an honest answer, not the cut and paste BS about calibration and the light in my room. Im amazed at how many people have the exact same complaint i do. So, is the S95 oled a failure and I need to exchange and stay away from Samsung or what???

LED and OLED TVsI was also unable to decide between g5 and s95f initially but then found a very good deal On Samsung which made it significantly cheaper than lg. However my original panel had a fault and got replaced (which was a nightmare like experience). If you still can and price isn't an issue for you, I'd suggest change it to LG. There have been a lot of reports of Samsung over processing image and this color fading fault seems more of a software issue rather than the panel/technology related. For me it happens when switching from game mode back to normal and vice versa. If I could find lg in the same price I'd go for that. But I'm stuck here.

LED and OLED TVsHave posted this exact issue months ago on AVS Forum. Was about to return tv and then it went away. Just came back again and found out about the 10 second reset. This needs to be fixed Samsung.

LED and OLED TVsThis happened to our brand new TV after it went into sleep mode. Restarting the TV fixes it. Is it happening to you after the TV falls asleep from inactivity?

LED and OLED TVsI have had the same issue and I've had a terrible experience with Samsung this time. I've used their other products and maybe had very high expectations but the TV hasn't lived upto it. At this price point you expect top notch quality and service but the reality is to the contrary. Has anyone found a permanent fix? There seem to be moderator comments for direct messages.
In my case I've realised its almost always related to game mode. And unplugging/replugging solved it for me. Now thanks to you all i have found this long press power key function and that works too. *keeping fingers crossed*

LED and OLED TVsSame problem. Colors look off, especially greens, grass and trees seem to blur into each other. Faces also start to look unsharp and almost clay-like.
I noticed today that the power light was blinking for about 90 seconds after turning on the TV. When I started watching a show, the colors were off again. Iโm not sure if the blinking is related to the issue, but Iโll keep an eye on it from now on.
A quick power cycle fixes the problem, which makes me think this is a software issue. Hopefully this can be patched quickly. There is also no difference between the native apps and watching through Apple TV.
