I recently bought a Samsung S95F and I love it, but every few days the shadows and black levels get really crushed and I need to unplug it and plug it back in to fix it. Does anyone know why this issues happens? im not leaving the tv on all the time but like at least once a week I turn it on and as soon as a dark scene appears it just looks destroyed

LED and OLED TVsI don’t have any photos but I’ll make sure to take some next time it happens. It happens across all video content as far as I can tell. The one thing I need to double check is hdr vs sdr.

LED and OLED TVs- So.....I am having the same issue. Colors/contrast or something looks off and muddy, and kills the crispness. The only way I have been able to resolve it is to unplug and replug, then a week later its back. Please tell me there's a fix for this. I waited 10 years to upgrade. I will not just unplug my TV every week. I will include pictures of the same scene before(top), and the second is after I unplug, discharge, and replug my tv with a normal picture.
Please help!

LED and OLED TVsDid you ever find a permanent fix or are you just restarting every so often? Having the same issue with my new s90F and debating whether I should send it back (and if another TV will have the same issue)

LED and OLED TVsThank you for reaching out with your concerns about the black levels on your Samsung OLED TV. Inaccurate black levels can sometimes be related to picture settings, ambient lighting, or even the content being viewed. Have you checked if you are running the latest firmware on your TV?
If your model TV have this feature; Let's try performing a Smart Calibration that should automatically adjust image quality. Follow the steps below.
1) Press the Home button on your remote.
2) Navigate to the left using the directional button and select Settings.
3) Go into All Settings.
4) Navigate to Picture.
5) Select Smart Calibration.

LED and OLED TVsThat does not change anything. Doesn't resolve the issue at all.

LED and OLED TVsI have the same issue, the picture quality is just garbage after a couple of days and i just bought this tv! You can really notice, especially in people faces in every streaming app, Netflix, Apple Tv, etc all faces look blurry, is not just the black levels, is contrast, sharpness, everything looks awful. I made sure to get latest firmware and even did the smart calibration and didn’t worked. This is a terrible experience for a $5000 tv(77’’ OLED S95F), I should not need to unplug it or factory reset it to make it work 😡
