Kitchen and Family HubAbout 2.5 years ago we purchased a wall oven/microwave combo unit NQ70M6650DG for a kitchen remodel we were doing. A few weeks ago the unit(s) just stopped working. The display would not illuminate upon touch, the lights in the microwave and oven would not come on when opening the doors. The only thing on the display was the time and it was stuck at 12:00am. The numerical keypad below the time would flash on an interval but pressing the numbers did nothing. The unit was disconnected from the Smart Things app and I was seeing an error code DF07-4. Searching that code didn't get me much information, I tried all the troubleshooting tips (reboot basically). I contacted Samsung authorized service, they informed me they would not move the oven from the wall to service, I needed to do that myself? What kind of repair facility tells the customer you need to remove the appliance? Magically, the unit started working again about a week later, worked for a few days then crapped out and did the same thing with the display. Several days later it came to life again... I contacted a different service company, not the Samsung service and they believe it is the DE94-04004B ASSY CONTROL SUB. $600 plus to install this item plus the $200 I already paid for the service call. Of course there is no warranty on a 2.5 year old $4k appliance. I will never buy another Samsung appliance. I am considering buying a new $6k Bosch unit AND pay a carpenter to slightly modify the wall space to fit it vs spending another dollar on this dog of a unit. Anyone have experience with this error code or display issue?
