My relatively new Bespoke microwave turns off after a few seconds and show a temp sensor error code. I have followed steps to reset to no avail. I would appreciate any known solutions before scheduling a repair tech. The microwave is only a couple years old and the Limited warranty has lapsed.

Hey there and welcome to our community! I can understand how frustrating this can be and am happy to help you! Just to verify, have you made sure the microwave is completely dry before trying to use it (If the microwave's electronics recently came in contact with moisture (like a spill or steam from a cook top), give the microwave some time to dry. Otherwise, 60 seconds is enough time to wait. After waiting, turn the microwave back on.) as well as doing a full power cycle? A power cycle is when you either unplug the unit from it's outlet or flipping the circuit breaker off for a few minutes.

If you have tried these steps to no avail, service would be the next option. You can use the following link to locate a service center in your area: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/

I have tried all of the recommended steps to reset the temp sensor to no avail. Having the unit serviced by a technician is not worth the cost compared to the value of the microwave. Therefore, I will research the part to purchase and attempt to install it myself. I am waiting for a response from Samsung parts department for the part information. Samsung should either provide a longer warranty and/or make sure the components in their appliances are of higher quality. Very disappointing that this happened especially given the microwave has had very little use.

Your microwave's Megatron cooling fan is not working. It could be either dirty or not rotating. Disconnect the power to the microwave and then remove the microwave cover and inspect the cooling fan. I suspect 9 out of 10 a dirty fan blades.

This microwave is an under-cabinet mount so it's not easy to remove the cover. Highly doubt the fans blades are dirty bc it's only a couple of years old and lightly used.  I'll have to take it down when I obtain a new sensor. That's probably the issue.

You might also check the cooling fan vents for blockage with greasy lint.

I will check when I take it down but I doubt the fan vents are blocked. It's relatively new and used infrequently.  Most likely the sensor is disconnected or bad.

Samsung needs to improve the quality of their appliances.
