I bought my fridge in February this year and since 2 days ago I am smelling gas and is coming from my refrigerator. It can be smelled inside and outside the freezer. Does anyone have any clue what's going on?

Kitchen and Family Hub@viteliwi If it smells like natural gas, you may have rotting eggs in your refrigerator.

Kitchen and Family Hub@viteliwi Current refrigerators don't use Freon. They use HFC-134a or R-600a. HFC-134a has a faint ethereal or slightly sweet odor, while R-600a is generally considered odorless in its pure form but can have a sweet smell.
