I bought my gas range with the "black" finish in February of 2023, and the "finish" is coming off in flakes. Of course, it's out of warranty, and there is apparently no recall.
I never expected my $1500 range to become cosmetically unacceptable in less than 10 years let alone 2.5 years. Seriously disappointing and very frustrating.
I also bought a matching refrigerator a few months later. The finish on that is still ok, but if it starts to peel off as well, I'm not sure what I will do.
