2 year warranty claim

Attempting to submit for Samsung’s offer for an additional 1 year on the warranty and the link to submit it indicates the refrigerator is not eligible after submitting for the warranty extension. Which according to the attached page is. The model is RF30BB6600QL. Tried to contact customer support but keep getting passed around to the next customer service representative.

@GIMIKE When did you buy the refrigerator? The graphic you posted says the start time frame is Feb 6 which was 4 days ago. Also it states that you must purchase it from a participating retailer.

The refrigerator was purchased on 9 Feb 2025. I assumed Lowe’s or any retailer would be offering this?

You can't assume anything.  When they say participating retailers, sometimes it's directed at particular retail outlets.  They usually provide a list of those retailers, so you would know where to shop.  It's a cooperative agreement that drives customers to those stores and incentivizes buyers to purchase the Samsung product.  Lowe's sells their own extended warranty packages, so they may not be participants.  It could also be a case of only certain locations of a major retailer participate. Kind of like participating fast food restaurants on any given promotion.  Since Samsung has a presence/partnership with BestBuy, I would more likely make the assumption that they were participants. Also, your graphic appears to be from Amazon, so maybe they were participants in the promotion, and you would have been given the opportunity to add it on check out.

The good thing about Lowe's though, if you buy their extended warranty, if you don't use it over the course of whatever term you chose, you get your money back upon request at the end of the term. At least that's the terms of my EW.  It's actually quite reasonably priced and you can still purchase it for a period of time after your appliance purchase.
