Galaxy WatchJust set up the wallet, you don't have to add any cards, and you don't ever have to use it. But, now they have added the capability to put membership cards, boarding passes and e-tickets on the watch, where you never could before. The dedicated long press on the back button is useless for anything other than the wallet anyway, so you may as well set it up. Which, incidentally, may be why you are constantly being prompted to set up the wallet - you may be pressing the back button a nanosecond too long.

Galaxy WatchI have the galaxy 8. I've done all of this. Reboot (does nothing.)Uninstall(forces install) Factory settings (forces install). I have it downloaded with nothing in it now. Now I'm getting the (+) Sign every few seconds on my watch. Something is trying to "talk" to another thing. Did you ever figure this out. This started 2 days ago. Ive had the watch for a month now and this wasn't happening. Thank you

Galaxy WatchSamsung Wallet is installed on the watch and cannot be uninstalled. Normally, you don't have to set it up if you don't want to use it. The long press on the back button is dedicated to activating Samsung Wallet. If you are trying to back out of an app, you may be holding the back button a bit too long - you only need a quick tap - I find it best just to press the home button. If you hold the back button too long, it's going to bring up Samsung Wallet and prompt you to set it up. Now that Samsung Pass is integrated into the wallet and usable on the watch, it may be best to set it up whether you use it or not. If you must, just add a membership card or gift card on your phone and then add it to the wallet on the watch. Then you will never have to see the setup prompt again, even if you accidentally hold the back button too long. As far as I can tell, the (+) should not be popping up all by itself, absent an action being performed to call up the wallet. Throughout all the years and all my watches, Samsung Pay/Wallet has NEVER spontaneously opened.
if it is happening spontaneously, I suggest putting in an error report within an hour of it happening the next time. Make sure the logs are included in the report. Watch logs are integrated into the phone log, so don't worry if you don't see an option to upload the watch log. Galaxy WatchThis started for me 2 days ago. I have a galaxy3 and it doesn't have samsung wallet, neither does my phone. I bought and android to use the google features. I don't use any of the samsung features. Might ave to move to a pixel if samsung is going to force this.
