How to stop watch 8 from forcing use of Samsung wallet

My watch 8 this weekend keeps having a pop up to install Samsung wallet. I don't use it. I tried to set it up just to get the pop up to stop but it's still happening. I have reset my watch twice with same issue. How can I stop it?

Not sure what specific pop-up you are getting, as I actually use Samsung Wallet, but most notifications once you tap them have an option to "block notifications."

I blocked the frequent "Wallet Syncing" notification using this method, so hopefully this works for the notification you are receiving as well.
