I researched the best Samsung watch for daily use over the past few days because I want a smartwatch that’s perfect for both fitness tracking and everyday wear. I read reviews on The Verge, TechRadar, and Tom’s Guide, and they’ve highlighted a few top models

Samsung Galaxy Watch 8

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F7QD4HSD?th=1

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F7PKN2C8?th=1

However, I am still having trouble deciding which one would best suit my needs. I mainly want it for daily activity tracking, notifications, sleep monitoring, and battery life plus something that looks good for work and casual use.So, for someone who wants a mix of style, fitness features, and good performance, which Samsung watch would you recommend? Any real-life experiences or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

I would say, if you're looking for a watch to wear 24/7 and do all that, then look elsewhere. Battery life is an issue at that level of consistent use. Perhaps buy both and swap them out? One for fitness and sleep, the other for daily and work.

I own the Watch8 Classic, which I love. I'm retired, though, and don't wear it during the day from around 8 to 5. I wear it every night and when exercising.

I don't know about battery life on a watch 8, but I have had the watch 2, 4 and, now 7.  I charge my watch every day, even though my average battery uptime is 32-36 hours.  I do not mind charging every day - it's part of my morning routine and gives my wrist a breather.  It tracks my vitals, activity and sleep just fine - I even listen to music on it when out walking.  The reason many people complain about the battery life on the watches is that, compared to phones, the batteries are smaller and I believe that people are expecting the watch batteries to last for days (which it will if you set it "watch only" mode.  They are expecting what is basically a wrist computer to act like a quartz watch that does nothing but tell time.  You can increase battery uptime by turning off certain functions at various times, i.e. turning off continuous HR monitoring (it will still check at intervals).

Most people don't forget to charge their phones, they do forget to charge their watches.

Honestly? Go to a physical store and see which watch matches your style preferences. You will see slightly longer battery life with the Ultra, but it's huge and isn't for everyone.

All of the watches are going to be comparable in terms of features and experience and you can't really go wrong with any of them.

I just recently got the Samsung watch 8 and I am very impressed with the accuracy of the watch. It takes my vitals, monitors snoring and sleep along with blood oxygen levels while you sleep. It hit the head on the nail today with my stress levels! I ran into a compromised situation this morning and my watch stated that I had elevated stress levels at that time. I've used it to take calls and the receiver says the sound quality is awesome, they didn't know that I was talking from a watch. I would highly recommend this watch. I've had several smart watches and this watch gives me more of what I need.
