Watch 6 forcing me to setup wallet on my watch. I DON'T WANT TO. Samsung support tech did remote access into phone and still couldn't help! They ended the help session on me. Help!

You can't re-map the bottom button to Google Wallet.  You can re-map the home button double press to be Google wallet.  The back button long-press is reserved for Samsung Pay.

Okay. So after I did a reset, the watch came right back within a few minutes to setup the wallet.  Still, not giving me the option. So, FINE, I set it up thinking that would solve the problem.  It did not. Now, since I've setup wallet so many times I don't think my bank is verifying the card as I'm glad since the wallet pops up randomly (which is the issue!) and wallet starts sending the signal out when I'm not even near a portal or paying for anything.  I'm okay with wallet being on here, and setup an all, but it just pops up whenever it wants, NOT when I want. All I want is to disable it so it will stop draining my battery.

Have you put in an error report?  I think you've done all you can without intervention from the developers.

So something happened Friday night ( I guess). The whole day Saturday, wallet did NOT pop up on it's own and hasn't since! I'd like to think me posting enough about it prompted an update. But, none the less, my battery is lasting like it was before this fiasco and I like it.

I am and have been having the same issue. Any news on a fix?

No, it didn't work for me. It's gotten worst! Gave in and installed wallet. Now, it kept forcing me to turn on NFC. Did so. And now, it keeps telling me to move closer Hold To Reader as if I am in a store and want to pay with my watch! Went to support. They confirmed it's a glitch and they will have the issue corrected in the next Watch software update! So, just have to wait and see. I just keep mine locked now but still drains my battery. Have always used SAMSUNG phones and device but this has changed my mind!

I'm getting the same issue here.
I gave up not setting up the wallet, but the problem continuous... 

The root cause seems the app opening, since it's still popping like I'd pay for something.

There was a Software update 2 days ago. Updated and it's STILL happening! Will not be buying Samsung Watches again. Even after force stopping Wallet, it's still happening! Spent too much on this for me to just keep it locked to not get annoyed!
