So i recently bought a galaxy z fold 7 and a galaxy watch 7. I have tried everything but the watch will not let me sign into my Samsung account. Through the wearables app under watch settings it shows i am signed in. The watch itself says otherwise.
I am unable to download watch faces and utilize Samsung features like Bixby. I checked reddit and many other people are having issues with the same thing. It seems it started and persists around 2 months ago.
I've tried resetting both the watch and phone, updated both devices and the wearable app. I even signed out of Samsung account on my phone and resigned in to see if that would work.
Do i just wait for a future update to fix this issue? I am out of ideas and have even turned to chatgbt for any other work arounds. My last resort was posting to the members app to get more input.
My phone gets brought to Samsung accounts on the Samsung app store. It says "install" but whenever i try to click it i get an error message saying my watch needs to be connected to wifi. I've reconnected my watch to Wi-Fi multiple times now and problem still persists.

I am having the same issue. I can connect to my earbuds and my car Bluetooth but my watch won't connect after factory reset 5 times and removing the software from the phone. I have also reset my new galaxy z fold 7 3 times. It's frustrating.
Yeah kind of irritating especially since it seems to be a known problem but no fix in the past couple months. Hopefully the new OS update that is supposed to drop in september will fix it. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
I don't know what i did or how it happened, but randomly my watch now shows it's signed in and i have access to all Samsung features. I haven't done anything since i posted this so not sure what changed. Hopefully the same will happen to the rest of the people facing this issue.
Yeah nothing i did seemed to fix the issue. I accepted defeat and used my watch with only my google account signed in. Randomly i checked the settings and noticed my watch was connected to Samsung account. I thought it was too good to be true so i tested features like Bixby and it all works now. Give it 24 hours or so and check to see if it fixes itself on its own.
