Ever since I updated my watch to the latest big update on April 15th, my Galaxy watch 7 will get stuck on measuring oxygen.
It starts at 0% and goes all the way to 99% and then stays at 99% indefinitely. I have to close it and try it again. My factory reset my watch but nothing fixes it. Is anyone else having this issue with the new update of Galaxy watch 7?

Nothing I did fix it. They finally gave me a label and I sent it in. It now works. It's strange because it only stopped after an update. I don't understand why a software update could break it, but it had to be hardware fixed.

@Samsung are you guys going to fix this? We are multiple users who have lost this 02 function since the last update. An update should not break your watch like this. Please fix this

Did you actually put in an error report? They are not going to fix what they don't know about. This is a peer-to-peer user forum and Samsung engineers do not act on postings to the forum even if they are lurking. They need to see the logs of the individuals having the issue, so that they can determine the cause and then create a patch - or tell you it's completely user error.

I have put in multiple reports, they acknowledged the problem, but not the scope and relation to the software update . They have now advised they can not assist, and that I have to send the watch to a physical technician at a repair centre. Doesn't look like they are planning a software patch or that they CAN deploy one to fix what the last update broke.

Here is the definitive answer. For some reason as you said they do not acknowledge that their software caused a problem. They required me to send it in. I reluctantly did. I believe it went to texas. It took almost two weeks to get it back.. but, it came back working perfectly. The report that I had said they had to repair some things with the sensor. I don't know what to believe, but it doesn't matter. This was the only way I could get it fixed, and Samsung fixed it. My advice is simply to suck it up and send in your watch.

Hi All,
I have the exact same issue with my GW Ultra after updating to the One UI 8 firmware they released a few weeks back. Same behaviour, same issue. I went through all the chat with support, clearing cache, reseting the apps, reseting the watch to factory etc etc... Then they ask me to send the watch for repair. It came back this morning with no fault found, all the hardware test have been passed... They couldn't reporduce the issue and dissmissed it as software bug....
Now I am stuck with support...
