I bought the Galaxy watch 7 ultra from the att store. It pairs just fine, but the mobile service will not activate. I used the members app to troubleshoot the eSIM and it says there is no eSim installed. It doesn't give me the option to scan a barcode to attach a new one either, it just fails to activate with att and gives me an error (EDS4014)

PLEASE HELP, I want to keep this watch but I won't if the service doesn't work

You would need to contact AT&T, they can manually add the eSIM on their end.

Be sure to have the IMEI for both devices on hand.

There are many times the stores do not properly activate the eSIM on the watch.  You have to call AT&T and have them reprovision it.  You should be able to dial 611 on your phone.

Ok thanks, I talked to them yesterday and they said they activated the eSIM, but you never know with at&t customer service... Ugh, I'm going to try again, but if they can't get it working before day 14, I'm going to have to return it. I have owned 3 different Samsung watches over the years and this is the issue I've had.

Ask for tech support, not customer service. They may have activated it, but it did not provision properly. I don't know about AT&T, but T-Mobile stayed on the phone with me til they got it right and tested. (I got a new watch the other day and when I got home from the store discovered that it was not done properly.)

Will the need to activate the EID on the side of the box or would they just give me a new eSIM?

Be prepared eith all that info, however, all that info should already be in your account, since you purchased it and "activated" it with them. There should also be a digits number assigned to it. You should be able to see it in your equipment list in your AT&T account.
