Galaxy WatchSince the latest SW update (One UI 8), the screen now stays on until charging is completed. This is an abomination, not a feature! Depending upon the charge state when it is placed on the charger, the screen could be lit for hours, all the while waiting for it to reach 100%, meanwhile lighting up the room when I'm trying to get to sleep. The previous version displayed the state of charge for only a few seconds, then blanked. Wish we could revert to the previous version, but can't. This needs to be fixed ASAP

Galaxy WatchThank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand the importance of the screen turning off on your Galaxy watch 6 since the One UI 8 update. In order to better assist you, can you please advise me what you have your screen time out setting adjusted to?

Galaxy WatchThe screen timeout is set to 15 seconds. We've since disabled the "Show Charging Info" option in display settings, which solved the problem.

Galaxy WatchIs it really fully on (watch face showing) or just showing the charging information the whole time? If you go to display settings on the watch, make sure that "show charging info" is off. If it's on it will show the battery level until full.

Galaxy WatchThe watch face is off, with only the charging info continuously displayed. Never realized that this might be a user selectable setting. This screen was only present after the SW update and was never present before, so it must have been enabled as a default as a result. We've sorted through the display options and turned it off as you suggested. Appreciate your insight!

Galaxy WatchThis screen had never appeared before the SW update, and we weren't even aware of it, or that it might be an option in settings. We've now disabled it.
