Galaxy Watch 7/Ultra resetting

The weirdest thing has happened a couple times and now I'm concerned. For no apparent reason, my watch keeps doin a forced reset. I then have to go through the whole process of setting it up again. This time around it completely changed the way my watch is set up. Face, settings and icon order. Can anyone help me understand why this is happening? This thing cost too much and is only 4 months old. 😡

yup, and crash logs keep getting sent in the background. and one hour of swimming equals 28 calories according to the watch. abo I t to jump.over to apple bc Samsung software is becoming trash

Has anyone else had this issue where your watch resets every time it gets too far from your phone or disconnected from your phone? For example, I forgot to wear my watch when I traveled to another city or switching between watches. When I came back and tried to use it again, it showed a message saying something like “reset your watch... disconnect & reset to re-pair your watch with your phone"  It basically wiped everything and made me set it up again like it was brand new. This has happened multiply of times. 

Is there a setting to stop this from happening, or is this just how it's supposed to work every time I use my watch again.

I've been going through a couple of posts and it looks like a bunch of us are having this issue with no solution. Hella frustrating.

It happens to me as well. Last time was on 4/12 and I had to reset my watch. Seems like I experienced this 4 or 5 times a month. Just make sure you back up your data for your watch. After you reset it, it gives you the option to restore your watch like it was before you had to reset it. Trust me, it's a lot easier then setting it up like a new watch. Because I never know when this will happen again, I back up my data twice a week. The old back up data is deleted so that it won't take up storage.

So far, no one can come up as to why this is happening and Samsung hasn't addressed the issue. You're not alone in this.

Ok I have the s25 Ultra and the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Every couple of weeks my watch will loose connection to my phone and I wake up to the notification in the photo. This has happened like 6-7 times now and it's exceedingly frustraiting. I called support and they walked me through some steps. I completely removed the Galaxy Wearables app and reinstalled it. I've tried both restoring the watch and starting it from scratch. Why does this keep happening and what do I do?

I know I am constantly talking to Apple users about the pros of switching to Samsung

I went ahead abd send my watch for repairs, it was doing the same, I contact samsung and since it is still u der warranty they will take a look and fix it.

I have the same problem every few weeks... And restoring from a backup doesn't restore all settings, so this is very frustrating!

Edit: I'm running the wear app on a S24 Ultra
