Been trying to the most accurate data from my new watch as it pertains to working out at the gym.  I decided to try creating workout routine and seeing how accurate that was.  I added 7 weight lifting routines and saved it.

The issue is, the watch only recorded one set of one routine, but counted like 150 reps for that routine.  Obviously it didn't count all the sets I completed, nor the correct number of reps for every exercise.  What am I missing?  Do I have to do every set in order of which they appear in the saved routine?  I also tend to mix sets, does that effect how sets/reps are counted?  Thank you.

I get it, I don't like it either.

This whole design language is all on Google, the owners of Wear OS that our watches run on.

It would seem to me that if you create a routine, the app expects you to do the routine in the order you entered the exercises.  Changing it up, not taking the breaks you may have added, doing it out of order will likely confuse the algorithm.  See what happens if you perform the routine exactly as you entered it.

First exercise on the list is curls.  There is no way to edit the order of exercises, it's just the order Samsung Health lists them in the app.  Anyway, first exercise on the list was curls, first exercise I did was bench press.  That first bench pressed was the 1 set that was counted, despite the first exercise being curls.  After that, no other sets were counted.

When you create a routine, you put the exercises in the routine in the order you will do them, not the order they appear in the list of exercises.  So, if you made a routine with curls, bench press,  sit ups, etc., you would create your routine as such:

When you create the routine, the reps are not counted automatically when you set a target.  You have to add them manually when you break between sets.  You should do the exercises in the order they were entered, but since you have to enter the reps manually, I don't think it really matters which order you do them in.
