Galaxy WatchIn the contact tile in previous versions, you always had to choose whether you wanted to text or call. It was not a direct call tile. I don't know about the single contact tile, because I never used it. I always used the four contact configuration, even though I never once actually used it to communicate. I generally initiate all my calls from my phone, and only answer texts or phone calls from the watch.

Galaxy WatchOur use cases and wants are obviously different, but they've chosen to make a singular contact experience worse.

Galaxy WatchIt follows the double contact widget configuration on the phone. If there is only one item on a double widget, the second space is blank-on all double widgets. Only the phone has a specific single contact, direct call widget. I don't see the issue. if you don't like the blank space, add another contact. You don't have to actually use it. You can still tap the contact to call or text even if there is a blank space next to it.

Galaxy WatchIt was changed for consistency with the phone widget. Two item widgets always showed an empty spot where an unpopulated space is. If you don't like looking at the empty spot, just add another contact. Surely you must call or text at least one other person regularly enough to give them a spot. I'm not arguing with you about it, obviously you don't like it, but that is the way it is now and they are unlikely to change it, so live with the empty slot or add a contact to it. How often are you staring at that particular tile? In the meantime you can send feedback to the developers through the link in the members app.

Galaxy WatchI'm not adamant about anything. I didn't say it was a good choice, I said it's a done deal and you have the option to ignore the space, add another contact and contact the developers with your feedback. I do not care one way or the other, I can say it doesn't bother me, because I have my four emergency contacts on the tile, so all of my spaces are filled up. You are choosing to be argumentative about it. When you post here, you are not posting to Samsung, you are posting to other users. The only way to make sure your annoyance gets to Samsung is to send feedback to the development team through the feedback link in the support tab of the members app.
