The weirdest thing has happened a couple times and now I'm concerned. For no apparent reason, my watch keeps doin a forced reset. I then have to go through the whole process of setting it up again. This time around it completely changed the way my watch is set up. Face, settings and icon order. Can anyone help me understand why this is happening? This thing cost too much and is only 4 months old. šŸ˜”

Check the forum. You're not alone. Many of us are on our 6th/7th time dealing with this. Lots of possible fixes, tried them all and none of them worked.

Yep, just factory reset it from the google find device app. Crossing my fingers it works

Anyway, this is from the other thread posting what the development team said:

I saw this, tried it, and still had it happen.

Send an error report, maybe it will hurry them up on a patch. It will also let them know their "solution" did not work.

I file one every time it happens. I'm getting the "we know we know" response now. LOL

I would just back it up and reset it. Its just the watch. It takes 2 seconds to set it back up

Funny enough, it gives me errors when restoring a back up. And it's not the issue, as you can read above, I have been resetting for two months, it's just tedious and I wanted to post so Samsung can, see that another person has the issue as well

The last time I had that issue it was because my Google account somehow got disassociate with my watch

I don't understand why this keeps happening to some people.
I haven't experienced this situation myself.
I went from the S24U to the S25U both paired to my Watch Ultra and my Watch 6 Classic. I am not using LTE on either device.
I used Samsung Smart Switch to set up my S25U and it worked flawlessly for both watches when I transfered to new phone.

Is your watch using LTE ?

Have you tried setting up as new?

I would try going into Accounts and Backups and deleting all backups that are stored on Samsung Cloud and start fresh.
