The weirdest thing has happened a couple times and now I'm concerned. For no apparent reason, my watch keeps doin a forced reset. I then have to go through the whole process of setting it up again. This time around it completely changed the way my watch is set up. Face, settings and icon order. Can anyone help me understand why this is happening? This thing cost too much and is only 4 months old. šŸ˜”

UPDATE:

A Bluetooth connection error has been identified on Galaxy Watch7 and Watch Ultra devices due to a software issue.

A software patch is being developed to address this issue, and a solution will soon be available. We are working diligently to release the software patch as soon as possible. You will be notified once it is available for download on your device.

In the meantime, we recommend backing up your watch before performing any resets. You can also check your device's software version by going to Settings > About > Software Information> Software Version. If an update is available, follow the prompts to install it.

My guess is that, if you switched to the S25 Ultra ~ end of January/early February, your phone switch was likely unrelated to the phone loosing connection & requiring a reset.

The underlying issue seems to be the last software update released @ end of January.

I agree, Samsung needs to take responsibility & get this fixed immediately, perhaps starting w/ a roll-back on the Watch Ultra's software to see if the issue stops...  But in the meantime, it may not be your S25 Ultra's fault.  šŸ™‚

Good luck!

I have absolutely no problems with the phone I love it that was just the first thing that was different from before when it wasn't forcing me to reset

Thing is, I haven't switched phones. I bought the 24 Ultra and the watch at the same time. So it's the only phone it's been connected to. šŸ¤¦šŸæ

Hello. Sorry, I should have been more clear.

My intention was to emphasize the issue being the watch (more specifically its software update ~Jan. 21st-23rd) & NOT your phone causing the issue.

Either way, I haven't had an unexpected watch disconnect & required factory reset since Feb. 12th... Fingers crossed.
