Galaxy Watch 7/Ultra resetting

The weirdest thing has happened a couple times and now I'm concerned. For no apparent reason, my watch keeps doin a forced reset. I then have to go through the whole process of setting it up again. This time around it completely changed the way my watch is set up. Face, settings and icon order. Can anyone help me understand why this is happening? This thing cost too much and is only 4 months old. 😡

Hello, I think you are using life360 app. I think it cause this issue. Why don't you remove it?

The same thing happened to me. I had to restore my watch. It happens occasionally. Crazy how Samsung hasn't put out a fix for this.

Same issues, Samsung had me send my watch in for a repair. Swapped out the printed board. Got watch back 2 days ago and my watch just did it again. Extremely frustrating. Have been buying Samsung products for 20 years. Seriously debating trying apple. Galaxy S24 ultra and Watch ultra are my current devices.

I send my for repairs according to samsung they replaced bpa, so I am waiting to arrived to see if the issue was fixed, I have samsung z fold 6 and watch ultra, if different samsung model phones are having this issue, is safe to assumed is not the phines but the watch.

I've had my GWU for a little over a month, and I've had to reset it a few times. Just yesterday, it forced me to do it again, but now it won't let me restore my most recent backup. Is there a software issue, or what is going on that it constantly makes me reset my watch? How do I restore my backup? Pretty annoying for how much this watch costs.

Not sure why you're unable to restore your most recent backup, but as for the watch that keeps disconnecting, this is a bug that Samsung has yet to address, which is crazy considering how much the watch costs. That has been around for quite some time. I had the same issue as well. However, I was able to restore my backup.

It gives me a message about WiFi Direct losing connection. I honestly don't know how to fix it and don't want to start over with my watch and re-download all the apps and mess with all the settings again. Very frustrating.
