Since Samsung refuses to add support for external heart rate monitors, Galaxy Watch users forced to use third-party apps to measure heart rate with the greater precision during physical activities. Google fit was one of the widely used apps for this purpose.

After the recent update the "Bluetooth sensors" option disappeared from Google Fit settings and now it's impossible to connect to external HRM. In the comments to the Reddit post users suggest that it is because of the lack of the necessary permissions. Now it's impossible to allow access to the GPS "All the time" since there is no such options in app's permissions in Permission manager. Here is another post describing the same issue with external HRM.

1. Is it well known issue for the developers?

2. Is Samsung planning to fix it in the future firmware updates?

3. Are there any plans to ease users pain and add external heart rate monitor support in the native Samsung Health app?
