Classic Watch 8 comes up with a bright, ugly, neon green screen

I am using the sporty watch face on my classic 8 watch. When I activate the watch in the morning, it comes up with a bright, ugly, neon green screen

Is it a screen issue?

I don't think so. It uses the same face, but it is neon green.

It seems like you have low light mode active. Try adjusting the face's settings in the Wearable app. You can also change this setting from the Watch itself by pressing and holding the watch face, selecting customize, and scrolling over to low light mode.

Can not find low light mode active...went to Display and Modes on phone and could not find it. 

How do you get there? Thanks.

You can also just change the face. I went through a couple before I found one.

But the face keeps changing. When hand down the face is one color then when i raise my hand to check the time, it changes again.
