After several years of wearing a Fitbit Charge 5, a medical diagnosis convinced me to buy a Galaxy Watch 6 because of its superior heart monitoring features. I just set up the new watch today, and although I've been around computers and electronic devices for 60+ years, I can see that I am facing quite a learning curve. First up is to find a watch face I like. The Charge 5 had only about 23 choices, but the one that fit my requirements displayed digital hour and minute in large digits, day of week, month, date, heart rate and steps taken. The last two were not displayed at the same time, and I had to tap to switch from one to the other. Question: From the multitude of faces available for the Watch 6, what's a good way to find one that displays the data I want to see?

You could start with "info brick" or "info board", both of which show the data you specified. Both also have customization ability to change most complications (display fields) to pretty much anything you want them to be.

They're both watching faces already listed under "watch faces->informative" in the wearable app on your phone, at least if you're using a Samsung phone. And are the actual watch face name.

Try downloading the facer app they have a lot of different watch faces displaying a lot of the info you like to be shown on your watch face

Yes! I have Facer and it's amazing. Works with Galaxy Watches up to the Watch 6. The Watch 7 with Wear OS 5 is not compatible with Facer but all other models previous to the Watch 7 are. Facer is cool tho for sure. I currently have a motion halloween :jack_o_lantern: wallpaper on mine. 10/10 awesome.

I love facer also. I miss using it since I've upgraded my 6 classic to the watch ultra 😢 some faces work on facer, though 1729476558296.jpg

Yeah I know! I bet, they're supposed to be working on a fix with Google and Wear OS as we speak, fingers crossed 🤞

Thank you for the information and tips that have been posted here.  Rather than using Facer, I chose Info Brick and was able to customize it to my satisfaction.
