Galaxy S25
I have a new s25 plus and it tried to charge it in my BMW's car charger. It starts blue and then after about 10 to 30 seconds it turns yellow. I took it to the dealer and put in two iphones, an s24 in an s24 ultra all of them charged.
My partner has an s25 + and it has the same problem... won't charge. I took my phone to T-Mobile and the guy there had an s25 plus that he put in my charger same thing it went from Blue to yellow in about 30 seconds.
I called up Samsung and the guy wants me to dofactory reset which I'm not going to do because it charges just fine on a regular wireless charger and three different s25 plus' all show the same problem so I know that it's a Samsung problem.
I'm posting this here to call attention to it or to see if anyone else has had this problem. Thank you

I guess one way to find out is if the device(s) can be tested on a newer car model with a newer wireless charging port built into the vehicle. It could very well be the newer OS and hardware on the S25 series as well, but that is above my station in knowledge base , so I am just throwing a guess out there.

5w charging pad in an older model BMW is probably the reason. 0-100 would take like a drive from. Lol NY to Florida to charge

Yeah, there is the age of vehicle, which may be too far behind in current tech devices or the software is not yet updated to function with the UI 7.0 with the latest chipset.

Thnx for the info! I hope people search forums like these before they buy their devices. It'd save lots of headaches.

I don't know. The lady at Samsung told me that all Samsung phones are to be compatible with all wireless chargers but she didn't sound like she knew what she was talking about

I have tried it on a couple of regular wireless chargers with no problem so I think it's the car

The S25 series is not compatible with the BWM charging pad. This happened with iPhone 15s last year. Apple fixed it with a patch. I highly doubt Samsung will do the same.
