When I insert the Samsung Internet search widget on to the home screen I increase the transparency. However as soon as I press ok, the widget goes back to being opaque. Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

Also most of the other widgets for Samsung apps no longer have a transparency setting. The only choice is clear or with a background color which is very jarring against my background. Samsung can you please bring back the s24 widgets. They worked perfectly fine.

The interface is terrible. Lack of transparency spoils the mood. Navigation, opening the top panel are inconvenient.

Why would an upgrade take away my option to set the transparency according to my preference? Please make it how it was before UI 7

I am very upset about this change ๐Ÿ˜ž The widget for Buds is huge, useless and not transparent, just black window with icons without description, so I don't know what they do. I had analog clocks, it is completely useless now. I would like to see my wallpaper  not black/white widgets. Huge padding everywhere. Some widgets don't have "transparency" settings. Not only it is not working, it was just removed. Everything is round... Man, I didn't want iOS and now I have the copy of iOS. Painful.

You can't tell what a widget is for without the titles?  The buds widget, to use your example, is an icon of the buds.  The battery widgets show an icon of each of the devices it is tracking the battery for.  Some widgets still have transparency settings - these would be the ones with the grey  or white background, and are primarily Samsung icons. Widgets with the blue background can have the background removed, but not have different degrees of transparency. Any of the widgets that have a settings gear if you long press on it will usually have either the transparency slider or the remove background setting. You can stack widgets so that they are not cluttering up the view of your wallpaper. If you download Good Lock/Home Up, you can add labels to the widgets.

I want the transparency back please. It's ruined my home screen aesthetic.

Not long ago, I bought a new Samsung phone - my first in a long long time. While I was setting up, I was on some previous version of One UI, and was loving the transparent calendar widget since it let me see my cute wallpaper. Imagine my surprise when I'm fixing up my widgets after a couple of One UI updates a mere day later, and suddenly my calendar refuses to go back to being transparent, even at the supposed lowest setting. So disappointing, have no idea why Samsung would do something so dumb!

Disappointed by this as well. My S22 had a nice semi-transparent calendar widget onscreen. My new S25 has a blackish blob that messes up the background.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Having granular control over settings is what One UI is all about. Many widgets can't be truly transparent right now. Why can't we have full transparency in calendar or Samsung health widgets for example? Sammy shouldn't be copying the negatives of other companies. The weather widget can't be fully transparent either, nor larger.

Please, bring back the transparency setting. Calendar events, weather and clock widgets are solid color. It's driving me crazy.
