When I insert the Samsung Internet search widget on to the home screen I increase the transparency. However as soon as I press ok, the widget goes back to being opaque. Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

Also most of the other widgets for Samsung apps no longer have a transparency setting. The only choice is clear or with a background color which is very jarring against my background. Samsung can you please bring back the s24 widgets. They worked perfectly fine.

Same on samsung a25, it's irritating me so much. Hope they fix that as fast as possible.

Bring back the option for full transparent widgets for all. Completely throws off the home screen. Absolutely hate it, the most transparent option is still anything but transparent

Same complaints here. What a stupid change. Whoever did this should be fired.

Come on Samsung OS techs. Just updated note 10 plus to s24 ultra and it would be good idea for you guys to look at how great it used to work! New transparency is so crude. Where has the granular control gone. I don't want to choose between no background  and the bathroom window effect . Return the slider  to the orginal range and give people the choice. The current  options are visually disgusting and  make the phones appear  crude and unrefined.  Please give  the choice back to your  paying customers.

Yeah I really liked being able to set the transparency on all of my widget backgrounds by percentage. The lowest transparency setting available now is essentially 50% transparency, when I'd normally set my transparency to 80% or lower. Some widgets were even set to be entirely transparent, like my calendar which takes up the whole screen, so I could see my background through it. A downgrade in my opinion to limit the transparency to 3 options.

I'm experiencing this too. Only some of my widgets are actually varying degrees of transparency, and some of them are opaque no matter how I set them. And it shows that the widget will be transparent, but when you save the setting it goes back to opaque (I'm experiencing this with my digital wellbeing widget that is supposed to show time spent on the phone. This unfortunately has been simplified to the point where it no longer shows what apps i spent time on, just the amount of time total) Thought the update would be a quick thing but I had to spend the whole morning messing with it. Bring back incremental transparency

When the transparency is set to a very low level (for example, at 4%), the widget or folder backgrounds remain blurry, occasionally becoming transparent. This behavior is totally random. Please fix this issue.
