Galaxy S25When I insert the Samsung Internet search widget on to the home screen I increase the transparency. However as soon as I press ok, the widget goes back to being opaque. Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

Galaxy S25--This is a peer-to-peer user help forum. While there may be some Samsung personnel reading behind the scenes, the best way to register your feedback is to put in an error/feedback report through the support tab in the Members App.

Galaxy S25Yeah, I too am EXTREMELY disappointed with Samsung removing the transparency control over widgets. It is asinine. I NEED the granular control over how my screen looks.
So, PLEASE, Samsung give back the transparency control over widgets!

Galaxy S25Not sure what you guys mean here. I can control the opacity of my widgets, or can remove the background entirely. Granted on the lightest setting it is still darker than they used to allow, but you could always turn off the background entirely.

Galaxy S25Not all widgets allow transparency. It's relatively easy to tell which ones do though; they are usually the ones with grey or solid white backgrounds. Anything with any other color, design, or photo/animation does not.

Galaxy S25I have the same problem with google calendar on my s25. Transparency settings show fine, and they worked fine on my s22, but when I apply them on the s25, the widget does not look transparent anymore.
Repro steps
1 Add google calendar widget
2 Use the widget's settings and make it transparent
3 Notice it looks transparent on the preview
4 apply the changes
Observed result: the widget background reverts to opaque after applying the transparency settings.

Galaxy S25I refreshed now to UI 7.0 and the transparency settings disappeared. Now it si black or white with almost no transparency (there is some setting tho), or no background at all. Why? Why take away something that was good, nice and working? Why take away the option to properly customize your settings? Can we get it back? Also my calendar widget looks now something that was developed by a 5 year old, the previous one was sophisticated and professionally looking...
