I just got the S25 and I was really confused what was bothering me about it. Yesterday I went out to take some pictures and it got clear: the vividness of the colours, especially the browns and pinks are just so washed out. I tried changing the vividness to lively but still. I checked with my older Samsung to see if it was just the picture, but it's the display.

On reddit I found many people saying the same, so I wanted to ask if anyone has an idea how to fix this otherwise?

Is there maybe a good app?

Or does samsung plan a software-update so users can decide for themselves whether they want coulourfastness or not? If it makes us happy, why can't we choose to have stornger saturation?

  • Anyway thanks for the help

Do you have the advanced setting option under the display options?
"Advanced settings option is disabled if the Adaptive color tone toggle is enabled!"
Or if comfort display is set

The S24 and S25 series of phones have implemented matte M13 screen panels. This has contributed to slightly less vivid colors than we have been used to with previous devices. Besides the vivid display slider, there really isn't a way to change the color saturation. I've gotten used to it over the past year or so.
