Is this happening to anyone else? Yes, I have contacted Samsung 4x, ATT 3x & submitted feedback. Has anyone else had this issue? How did you fix it? Solution from Samsung. "Return it, buy again." Losing pre-order price and free items. It's an unlocked phone. ATT says not our problem, Samsung says not our problem!

I've had AT&T mis identify phones before. I just ignored it, and after a while, it was corrected. Personally, I would ignore it. It doesn't affect your service.

Thats good to hear. How long did it take? Their poor customer service leads me to want to process a return and never buy a Samsung again. I've had one since the first Samsung came out so it will be difficult.

Don't know how long, really, because I didn't really care if it was fixed or not.

@stephscloud If you have cellular connection and data then all is well. AT&T misidentifying it won't cause any issues.

Why never buy a Samsung again? It sounds more like an AT&T issue. That said, I have had similar issues with motorcycles while insuring them. The VIN comes up with the wrong model at first and eventually it gets corrected.

Oh, please. T-Mobile has my A54 5G alternately being listed as an iPhone or a BYO Android device (generic) or an A54. Irritates me every time I see it in my account, but I've been assured it affects absolutely nothing.  I get all my updates.
