Unable to turn on RCS on brand new S25 Plus

Completely stumped. Under RCS settings It says RCS chats aren't available for this device and an IT Administrator has turned off RCS chats. Switched from t mobile to mint on a new S25 plus. Been thru support with Mint Mobile and they are out of ideas, they say to ask Samsung. There are no unknown apps with device administrator privileges. There are no accounts logged in with IT administrators, they are only personal apps. We tried the Google support turn off 2FA method but the 2FA text never comes. The phone was brand new from mint mobile. Can anyone help?

This may be one of those cases where the carrier is blocking certain phone capabilities.

Mint is now the carrier, they say there's nothing wrong. Could T Mobile have blocked it?

My guess is its a mint issue not sure tmobile take over done yet but its same network

I had the same issue on my S25 Edge. The resolution was converting my physical SIM to an eSIM.

So, I switched to Mint Mobile last November (from AT&T) with a s23 Ultra (AT&T-unlocked) and couldn't get updates, because my phone could no longer access the AT&T network, but RCS on Google Messages worked fine. Just got the Z Fold 7 (unlocked) and now get updates once again, and RCS still works on Google Messages.

The Mint Mobile website suggests that you use Google Messages for RCS texting.

I had the same problem but clearing app data fixed it (it kept my messages)

Does anybody know why the Samsung messages on my s24+ doesn't have the new RCS chat I even try looking it up on my galaxy store to see if the app may need to be updated but it no longer pops up on the galaxy store when searched and isn't on my apps library in the galaxy store

I think its only available for Google Messages

It's weird I thought that aswell but my partner just got the Samsung s25 on sunday from best buy unlocked and his Samsung messages has RCS chat features so I was wondering mine doesn't have that on my s24+
