Unable to play video while on messenger call or WhatsApp call

Can anyone help with this situation I'm having.. 

 So if I'm on a Facebook messenger, call or WhatsApp call and I try playing a video off of x, YouTube or chrome it won't play or tell me playback error. Is there a way I can stop that from happening?

Videos typically won't play when your Levin a call. You're on a call, which prevents it from playing, Its prioritizing the call.

My s23 ultra i could have done both and other people with the s25 ultra dont have that problem in my circle of friends

Hi! I've encountered this problem too, and by testing with other apps, I've found out that it's most likely a Messenger issue since when I try video calls through whatsapp, the playback issues are solved (browsers and Netflix). Though for me, the Youtube web (tested with chrome and firefox) doesn't work for me, but with Youtube app, Facebook and Instagram videos seems to work even with the Messenger call on.

Same issue. Its buggin the heck out of me. 🤬 except it started after my samsung updated.

Ever since it updated I can't watch videos while on a call 🙄

Same since i updated my phone from one ui 6.1 to one ui 7.0 it started to not play videos in chrome while im in a messenger video call

Has anyone found a solution for this or did Samsung just **bleep** our phones up? Lol

It's messenger. The problem is messenger. I tried switching to viber and I can play videos on any platform while on a call.
