After the last update. No longer working on RCS and not displaying delivered and read notifications. My last version was 15.7.02.15. With this version it worked. It updated to 15.7.03.9 and not it doesn't work even though its set to chat in settings and delivery and read is checked on. Anyone else having this issue, looking for a fix?

I got it working again my RCS is back in the messages app. Tmobile had the fix. Go to settings, general management, reset mobile network settings. Reboot the phone and its working again. I hope this works for anyone trying to do the same.

Its the lack of customization and categories. If it offered it I would use it.

Customization is so not a thing for me, I don't need it to be pretty. I just need it to work.

I do get the categories, though!

For me, that isn't an issue. Having my messaging app work with iPhones is a thing I need. Especially now that I can edit or delete messages I send to my Iphones peeps are now a thing.

It amazes me that people would rather have a pretty app rather than a functional one.

Me, too.

I don't even have it on my phone anymore to help people with Samsung Messages.

Going back and forth messes up chats for a while. Google really doesn't want you to go back and forth.

It has nothing to do with pretty. All to do with organization. Categorizing my messages its a efficient way to organize your messages, family, work, union business etc. Instead of a list you need to scroll down to find a text message. The messages app didn't stop working only the RCS dissappear and it wasnt the apps problem. It was network refresh issue.

it's nice to see if you resolve your own issue. But i already long time Google Message user. Ability to check my RCS from https://messages.google.com/ is really helpful for me, i am not looking back to Samsung Message

And thats great. I posted here looking for help with Samsung messages. I found other user with the same issue. Once I was able to fix it I shared it for others like we that prefer to use this app over the Google one.
