I noticed a few days ago my steps were not showing in health. After clearing the cache and restarting my phone, all of my challenges are gone. My global challenge badges are gone and I'm back to level 1 newbie. I was at level 12. However I have other badges and exercise history. Im disappointed.

That's incredibly frustrating, and it's a known issue with Samsung Health. The badges and challenges are tied to your Samsung account and are supposed to sync to the cloud, but sometimes that sync fails or gets corrupted. When you cleared the cache, you likely triggered a failed sync, causing your phone to download old, incomplete challenge data from the cloud instead of the most recent version. The steps and exercise history you still have were likely stored locally and weren't affected. The most important thing is to ensure your phone has synced to the cloud before you clear the data, as it's the only way to get your progress back.

To try and fix this, you should first check the sync status. Open Samsung Health, go to Settings, and look for Samsung Cloud. Manually tap Sync now. Make sure it shows the current date and time. If syncing doesn't work, the next step is to clear the app's data. Be warned: this will remove all local data, including the badges and challenges you have left. To do this, go to Settings > Apps > Samsung Health > Storage, and then tap Clear data. After clearing the data, re-open Samsung Health and log in again. If that still doesn't work, your last resort is to uninstall the app, restart your phone, and then reinstall it. This is the most aggressive solution and will force a fresh install and sync.

Same issue here. I restarted my phone did not fix. I did check sync and all is syncing so it says. I'm not going to clear or reset anything I'll just wait for Samsung to deploy the fix. I just hope it is soon. I have a Galaxy Watch 8 I use it to track my steps anyways.

I have the watch 8 too. I wish I wouldn't have cleared anything. But thats water under the bridge now.

Forgot to mention it's just during the current day it's not showing. When I look at previous days it shows the correct daily activity so I guess at the end of the day a final sync occurs that updates the data 🤷

I did yesterday. They told me to clear the health cache. I lost my progress in the app after that. Im just going to leave it as is.

@StephLyn I would try again. The steps on my S25 Ultra are reporting correctly everywhere, but in my Fold 7 they are incorrect in the widget, in Now Brief, and in steps details.

I just posted on this glitch as well.
In the health app itself, My steps are visible but the health app summary, only the steps count and green 💚 line are missing. I first noticed this glitch yesterday.
