Software update app won't open

I got the notification about the update and couldn't do it at the time so I dismissed it. Now when I go to software update under settings, it starts to open the app, then it closes. I can't get the app to open at all. I've tried restarting multiple times. 

Any help?

Oops sorry I misread didn't see title you can try a clear cache or a restart i haven't had that issue before
