Galaxy S25Huge disappointment to discover that the 25 Ultra Smart View app does not allow other device to phone streaming. This feature has been a huge part of my loyalty to Samsung with my current 23 Ultra and my Samsung TV. If I can't do this any longer, there's a chance that I will soon purchase an iPhone and it will no longer be necessary for the TV I buy later this year to be a Samsung. That means the company just from me will lose over $2000 in revenue. Hopefully a s/w update in the very near future will restore that option. If anybody has any other suggestions on how to do this with the new phone, I would look forward to seeing them.

Galaxy S25I've found the answer !
It looks like Samsung has moved the option to cast FROM your TV to your phone is now in the SmartThings App.
Select Devices, from the bottom menu.
Select your TV.
You then need to select "Featured" from the bottom menu, then select Smart View, then TV to Phone.
Why they have done this is a mystery.
Hope this helps.

Galaxy S25Interesting and thanks so much. I didn't get the phone due to this issue but I'll go to a store and see on the floor model if I can make it work that way.

Galaxy S25Just spent 15 minutes with a Verizon guy at their store and we couldn't figure out where to find "Featured" on the bottom menu. We went all over Smart View itself. Can you tell me where to find that and I'll try again? Thanks so much.

Galaxy S25The phone needs to have the device already registered in SmartThings, so it won't show the correct bottom menu.
You have to select your TV from the list of devices, then you will see the bottom menu change.

Galaxy S25My TV is registered in SmartThings and when I tap on it I only get a remote control, nothing like your screen shot. This is on my recent tablet which also doesn't allow streaming TO my device from the TV. Crazy and thanks again so much.

Galaxy S25Great.
Why they moved from Smart view to Smart thing app.
Samsung
Doesn't want people to use this feature.

Galaxy S25100% agree.
I turned on my s23 ultra to use that feature.
Poor decision. With time, should increase the facility and features. Here cutting the features.
SPen. No Bluetooth support
