Galaxy S25Huge disappointment to discover that the 25 Ultra Smart View app does not allow other device to phone streaming. This feature has been a huge part of my loyalty to Samsung with my current 23 Ultra and my Samsung TV. If I can't do this any longer, there's a chance that I will soon purchase an iPhone and it will no longer be necessary for the TV I buy later this year to be a Samsung. That means the company just from me will lose over $2000 in revenue. Hopefully a s/w update in the very near future will restore that option. If anybody has any other suggestions on how to do this with the new phone, I would look forward to seeing them.

Galaxy S25This is for getting up to go to the kitchen, maybe changing clothes to go out, bathroom etc. and is especially crucial when watching something pre-recorded on the DVR. I rarely sit still for an entire show.

Galaxy S25After I wrote that I realized that it actually could be useful for vision or hearing-impaired people as well. I have a fairly large size HD TV, and I sometimes feel that I don't see the screen clearly enough from the distance I sit at. Casting it to my phone and turning the phone volume off may make it easier to see the smaller details. Likewise, casting the phone and turning the volume off on the TV and using the phone's volume control or headphones, one who has difficulty hearing the lower voices on some programs would be able to make out what's being said without captions and avoid annoying the neighbors or sleeping children.

Galaxy S25Hopefully someone out there has a solution - or Samsung can promise a s/w update to restore this important feature. Apparently the cheapest S25 model does have it. How strange.

Galaxy S25Anyone from Samsung itself reading this who can reply? This was my hope when I posted the above.

Galaxy S25It's very rare for "someone from Samsung" to be reading this forum. It is primarily a peer-to-peer user help site. For things you actually need Samsung to address, you need to send feedback to the developers via the support tab in the Members app.

Galaxy S25I was starting to think the same thing. Samsung's DM option told me to go here. Thank you.
