Screen Brightness issue

Ive had my s25 ultra for a few months now and about a month and a half ago I started playing cod mobile on my phone but starting around 2 weeks ago the brightness would just lower itself to a point where I can't play the game , I have adaptive brightness off and I checked through all my settings and couldn't find the problem, now my screen will just go dim randomly through the day with no explanation, then randomly it will go back to normal but not for long. I already put the phone in recovery mode and cleared the cache and I checked all of Google for answered but couldn't find anything. It's been driving me absolutely nuts that I payed 1200 for this phone but can't barely use it without the screen going dim most the time. Anything help would be greatly appreciated

Had this issue with my S24 Ultra. I contacted Samsung support and they tried to diagnose it remotely and couldn't figure it out either. They let me return it. Maybe contact them and see if they can help you out. I've not had this issue with my S25 Ultra outside of it getting very hot and it doesn't dim nearly as bad.

I contacted them and they said to take it to a phone repair store so I'm just gonna do that

I've had the same problem with my s25 Plus, just for the last couple of weeks I think maybe related to the last update... I don't use adaptive brightness, I am always in dark mode, and since I got this phone I've had it at under 50% brightness and it's been plenty bright enough. Now besides it getting dim and I have to crank it up periodically, I find that I need to go above 50% almost to 70% before it's this bright as I remember it used to be

Yes same, exept mine will just look like it's at 20% brightness even tho it's at 100, the phone repair store said it might be a motherboard issue but I don't wanna send it to Samsung cause then I'll be without a phone for God knows how long

Once or twice it happened that i turned on "extra dim" at night and then forgot it was on 🤪

That's not the problem, I checked all of the settings

Honestly just gonna sell it because Ive heard some bad stories about people's phones getting lost when they send it to Samsung to get repaired. I'm so disappointed, I paid 1200$ for nothing
