Ive had my s25 ultra for a few months now and about a month and a half ago I started playing cod mobile on my phone but starting around 2 weeks ago the brightness would just lower itself to a point where I can't play the game , I have adaptive brightness off and I checked through all my settings and couldn't find the problem, now my screen will just go dim randomly through the day with no explanation, then randomly it will go back to normal but not for long. I already put the phone in recovery mode and cleared the cache and I checked all of Google for answered but couldn't find anything. It's been driving me absolutely nuts that I payed 1200 for this phone but can't barely use it without the screen going dim most the time. Anything help would be greatly appreciated

Also, Ive already ran a diagnostics test and it said everything was normal. But just to make it clear, I have adaptive brightness turned off and I checked everything in the settings.

Is it getting hot and dimming the screen and throttling the processor?

One thing you can do is install Samsung's Good Guardians app from Galaxy Store and find the Thermal Guardian module. Inside Thermal Guardians, select "Additional settings". Among other options, you can disable "Decrease maximum brightness while heating".

I have already done that, but thank you. It doesn't help

On the Thermal Guardian chart, does it indicate your phone has been overheating at all?

Kindve , not really to the point where I think the phone would need to dim the brightness

Have you checked that 'Extra dim' button is turned off?
