Google smart telephone has Call Screen option but this is not available on Samsung phones.  I purchased S25 Ultra and returned the smart phone because this feature is missing.  For the most part Samsung makes an incredible smart phone but I can't stand the spam calls.  I went ahead and purchased addition spam protection from my wireless carrier.  BUT nothing compares to Google Call Screening feature.

I hope Samsung company is listening to this request.  I would love to hear from Samsung.  I went on the site but there is no option to contact them or make a suggestion.

Samsung have Text Call which is very similar to Google call screening.
I personally prefer Samsung Text Call feature.

I don't know for sure, but I would guess downloading Google Voice or Phone by Google and using either as your default phone dialer would give you that option. Otherwise, as OMEN20 said, Text Call is available for Samsung.

Nope, call screening is strictly a Pixel feature, as is direct my call and hold for me on the Phone by Google app.

Downloading Google's phone app doesn't allow for the use of automated call screening on Galaxy devices. The Google service will automatically screen calls as they come in but only on select devices that Google phone is preinstalled with. It offers an automated assistant that determines if the call should even reach you based on your settings. This is a 100% free and hands free service.

The only options similar for a Galaxy S25 would be to pay for hiya AI phone. Bixby Text Call requires user input as it was designed more for answering via text when in inconvenient situations.

If you are tired of spam calls, and the phone app's built in spam controls are not sufficient for you, then configure your phone's do not disturb settings to allow calls and messages from your contact list only and notifications from all apps, and keep your phone on do not disturb.  All unknown calls will go to voicemail and show up in your call log, so you can call back any number not in your contact list that happens to be legitimate. Most carriers also have spam controls in their apps.  Samsung cannot stop spammers and scammers from calling you, but there are steps you can take to alleviate that.

If you want to get the developers attention for a call screening feature, submit feedback https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692

I setup the Do Not Disturb DND feature via Modes and Routines MAR.  However i noticed DND is enabled the Volume is completely disabled.  So this defects the telephone spam protection because no phone calls will detected.  Within the MAR i enable the volume control but the DND override the volume settings.

Did you create a mode that looks like this? The volume should stay at the volume you set it at for the items you allow through. If you have DND on and you did not configure it to let certain contacts or notifications to come through, there will be no sounds at all, because DND will be blocking everything.

I give up. Everytime Samsung forces an update, something either is missing, configurations go away, alot of features need to be redone. Now the radio buttons from the Report Call feature are gone. I have gotten as many as 70 spam calls a day, 99% of which are from overseas. The Phillipino calls are increasing.

The report call feature is still there, it's just in a different place, and really unintuitive.  In any case, when you tap on the call in your call log, tap the "more info" circle on the far right.  On the bottom of the screen that appears, also on the far right, is the three-dot "more" menu.  Once you tap that, you have the option to delete or report.
