I have been trying to find why my Samsung S25 Ultra won't save photos to the Gallery app. I use all the native S25 camera apps and have checked the file folders and other areas and can't find anything. However, it is saving new images to my Amazon Photos and Google Photos directly. I have not set up anything that I can find that created this manually. It just seems to save them to both by default, since I have active accounts with both.
Not as yet, thanks. I am trying not to do more damage than necessary. It would mean to just delete them and again reset them up. Fortunately all is saved and easily accessible there but not in the Gallery as it is supposed to be. I can't find any internal or manual manipulation of the photo output. What folders or files I find all have nothing in them and I have current photos and video showing in Google and Amazon.
The cache isn't enter photos are stored. The cache is where temporary values used by an application are stored. They can become corrupted and cause incorrect behavior.
As of this moment, the photos are posted to all three apps: Amazon, Gallery, and Google Photos. I can't say why, as I just took it out to shoot some quick shots to check the lens, and it was working. I have no answer. I did nothing special, no modifications, and no new adjustments. It just seems to be working fine now!
Being a past iPhone user for some time, perhaps I am looking in the wrong place. Are photos on the S25U supposed to go to "Photos" which is a Google Photo folder? I expected to see them in the Gallery App.
