S25U Battery Not Lasting

Hello,

So I received my S25U on Monday, and by now it already learned the battery's usage patterns; however, I am coming from a S23U, and it lasted me longer, anybody noticing this? I mean it's drops fast to 60, but then it slows. It gives me about 12 hrs, but normal usage, not steaming videos or playing games. Is that OK? I'm traumatized by different posts I've read before receiving my device that stated battery's issues. So I wanna know if I'm on the safe side😭. Bc i do think my S23U lasted me longer throughout the day.

Seams that mine took about 5 days to actually settle in and now I'm getting better than my S23 Ultra (that I traded in) make sure to update the playstore. In about phone or in playstore settings.

Well if it means anything, I was in the same boat as you. I had the S24 Ultra and I felt the battery last longer on that one. I got the S25 Ultra two weeks ago and I honestly wasn't putting my phone down at all. I was so impressed with the functionality and smoothness of it, that I would drain the battery in a day, giving me a out 7.5 to 8 hrs of SOT. But as time went on, it started to adapt. So I say, it took about a bit more than a week to really adapt to .y needs. Right now, battery is pretty good. I do notice it does get warm when playing YouTube videos though. A d that's when I notice the huge battery drain just from YouTube. My S24 Ultra didn't have that problem. So let's hope Samsung starts rolling out these updates cause we are still on the December 2024 patch 🤦

Yes, maybe I'm just over stressing bc of the different posts I've seen. Yeah maybe it just needs more time to adapt to my needs. Thank you for sharing, I can breath again. Maybe like you mentioned, I have not even noticed I'm using to much bc I'm so obsessed with the One UI 7:fire:, hopings it gets better adjusted with the upcoming updates.

Battery training takes more than a few days.  Also keep in mind that you likely have been using the device a lot more than you did with your S23, as it is a new device.  At least this is how it works for me, when I get a new device, I can't seem to put it down for mor than like a few minutes, but when I have had a device for 2 years, I barely use it...

Yes, it's just that the system itself doesn't show the "Learning Battery Patterns" message anymore... so I assumed it had already learned it hehe. That's so true, we don't use much often old phones unless we get a massive UI update, so that makes a lot of sense. Thank you for sharing, I'll keep it positive and see if it betters within the upcoming weeks.
