Recently received my s25 ultra. The one thing I noticed is that I cannot leave an app if mic is in use. For example on a WhatsApp voice call, if I switch apps, the mic turns off even if the call is on in the background. This has to be addressed.
Hello, I seemed to figure out a temporary solution and problem. When you allow mic access it asks you to allow mic only this time, never, or when using the app. I changed my setting to only this time and the problem went away.
It also seems the problem is specific to outgoing calls.
So my solution till android or whatsapp fixes it, every time you call, give permission for mic usage "only this time"
I have found a solution as well š. If you don't leave the app before call connects and other person picks up, mic stays operational. If you leave the app before othet person picks up the call, mic becomes disabled.
